A Jollibee customer from the Philippines was left speechless when she was served a fried towel with her meal...
Yes, you read that right.
A fully battered and then fried towel.
Alique Perez was left speechless when she opened up her Jollibee meal and realized there was something strange about her "chicken"...

Perez placed an order for a 4-piece Chickenjoy Family Box and a 1-piece Chickenjoy w/ Palabok but was shocked when she saw that the latter did not contain any meat at all...
And instead, there was a fried towel in it's place.
Of course, once the photos were uploaded to her Facebook account, they immediately went viral.
People just couldn't help but comment on how bizarre the situation was...

It must be a sabotage. I've eaten in Jollibee for a thousand times, but never I had anything like this. Before you fry, you put the batter first, so why didn't the cook see if it's a chicken or towel? There was a mistake. Well, I do believe it's just an isolated case. 🍗

That branch just got opened 3 days ago, but It's obviously not an accident but a work of sabotage or a prank. I used to work at McDonald's so I know it should be obvious if your frying a towel.
