Piers Morgan Brutally Mocks Prince Harry and Meghan Markle With Savage Cartoon Jibe

Piers Morgan has brutally mocked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle with a savage cartoon following Harry's exclusive interview with Dax Shepard...

And the ruthless jibe has certainly gotten people talking.

Here's the full story...

Now, we all know that the British journalist has had a personal vendetta against Meghan Markle for quite some time...

And it all seemingly started back in 2016, just weeks before Meghan went public with Harry.

The pair went out for a drink together while Meghan was in London...

And it was clear that Piers was charmed by the Suits actress... and this tweet is solid proof of that fact!

He later wrote a column about his conversation with Meghan, saying he wasn't "surprised he's [Prince Harry] fallen for her, or that he's so ferociously protecting their relationship."

"Meghan Markle is perfect princess material. Just put any proposal in writing."

But it wasn't until Harry and Meghan's engagement when things started to go a little pear-shaped on the Piers Morgan front.

The journalist wasn't invited to the wedding, despite him repeatedly bugging "his friend" Meghan on Twitter for an invite.

This is when Meghan supposedly "ghosted" him...

And Piers hasn't heard anything from Meghan since... something that clearly touched a nerve.

Just days after Harry and Meghan tied the knot in 2018, Piers angrily penned his first of many abusive columns against the pair, accusing Meghan of "scripting" the perfect day for her wedding and turning in "an Oscar-winning performance."

The broadcaster even went on to admit his feelings were hurt from not being invited to the wedding.

"She ghosted me, Ryan!" he said when host Ryan Tubridy asked him what happened on The Late Late Show in September 2018.

"Meghan Markle ghosted me. I really liked her — this is why it hurts. She's just a slight social climber, I'm afraid."

Well, this is when things really started to get out of hand.

Over the last 3 years, Piers' clear obsession with Meghan has grown beyond belief, with his bitterness over her snubbing of him escalating into anger.

Alongside Twitter, Piers would use his position as co-host of Good Morning Britain - oneof the most watched breakfast shows in the U.K - to make his opinion of the Sussexes very apparent.

He even invited Meghan's estranged father, Thomas Markle, on the show numerous times to try and tarnish her name even further.

Piers' obsession was becoming concerning...

And it was starting to become a form of bullying - something that most definitely contributed to Harry and Meghan stepping down from the royal family after being relentlessly attacked by the press and public figures like Piers.

And just when people thought his obsession couldn't get any worse...

Harry and Meghan's tell-all interview with Oprah aired on March 7th, which sent their critics - including Piers - into a media frenzy.

Piers was furious over what he heard in the interview...

And he viciously attacked Meghan on both Twitter and Good Morning Britain in a manner he had never before.

From referring to her suicidal thoughts as a way of "attention-seeking" to laying into her for the way she dressed during the interview...

Piers did not hold back, which resulted in many accused him of bullying the former senior royal, even after knowing the torment she underwent by the press (who he is still an editor for, may I add!)

His remarks were also criticized by his co-presenters and on social media, with ITV being called "hypocritical" for allowing him to do so while simultaneously running a mental health campaign.

People began arguing back and defending the Sussexes...

Which on one occasion resulted in Piers storming off the set of GMB after weatherman Alex Beresford called him out for relentlessly attacking Meghan for "cutting him out."

People weren't impressed by what they were hearing...

And within a matter of days, more than 41,000 official complaints were made against Piers for his behavior on GMB... including, as it was later revealed, one made by Meghan herself!

This resulted in Piers being advised to step down from his role as co-host of GMB.

But in typical Piers Morgan fashion, he wasn't going to go quietly or without an apology!

"On Monday, I said I didn't believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I've had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don't. If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I'm happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I'm off to spend more time with my opinions," he tweeted upon the news of his resignation along with a picture of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill.

Piers has been keeping a relatively low profile since leaving GMB...

And has been using his social media platforms to promote his best-selling book, Wake Up, rather than spew abuse at Harry and Meghan.

But it seems as if Piers has decided it's time to poke some fun at the Sussexes again...

Because he's just shared a savage cartoon on Instagram that brutally mocks the couple and their new lives in L.A following Harry's recent interview with Dax Shepard.

Harry said he was caught in a cycle of "pain and suffering" in the royal family and hinted that he is heavily critical of the way his father, Prince Charles, raised him, in the lengthy interview.

Talking to actor Dax Shepard for his podcast, Armchair Expert, Harry at one point compared being in the royal family and being under the glare of the British press to being in "The Truman Show" and in a zoo.

Of course, Piers found these comments highly contradictory of Harry considering he's still in the public eye...

And the cartoon certainly divided opinion among Piers' fans on Instagram.

Many found the cartoon both humorous and accurate...

And they were quick to praise Piers for being "the most direct person on TV."

But on the other hand, many called out the journalist for continuing his obsession...

And he was firmly told to "have a day off" from it all.

Here's the cartoon in question:

The caricature shows a cartoon of Prince Harry saying: "I left the royal family because it was a cross between 'The Truman Show' and living in a zoo" alongside a cartoon of him, Meghan, and baby Archie surrounded by TV cameras saying: "But hey! Look at me now!"

What do you think? Do you think the cartoon is offensive and unnecessary? Or do you think it makes a valid point?
