​Now, although Chrissy Teigen is a very much-loved figure...


The former model has proven to have been rather controversial in the past.

​Chrissy, who is married to John Legend and is a mom of 2, makes her opinions very well known on Twitter...


And some of her eye-opening tweets have landed her in some serious hot water on several occasions.

Chrissy has been slammed many times in the past for her "tone-deaf" tweets...


Especially during difficult times like a global pandemic.

​In the middle of last year's lockdown, Chrissy took to Twitter to explain how her mom treats her $200 Apple AirPods like they're disposable...


And her supposed joke really didn't go down well with her fans; many of whom were struggling financially thanks to the pandemic.

​In the last decade, Chrissy has been called out on numerous occasions for making fun of and being cruel about other famous figures...


Such as suggesting Lady Gaga isn't a woman, shaming Mariah Carey when she was pregnant, and ridiculing transgender contestants on America's Next Top Model... just to name a few.

She has also been accused of being a bully on numerous occasions...


And some of her past tweets certainly back up these accusations.

The most recent accusations came from TV personality Courtney Stodden.


Chrissy was forced to issue a public apology earlier this week to Courtney after some seriously concerning past tweets and DMs resurfaced.

Courtney attracted negative media attention in 2011 after marrying a fifty-year-old acting coach at age sixteen - a relationship they say they now realize they were groomed into. Courtney told the Daily Beast that on top of some cruel direct tweets, Chrissy sent private DMs encouraging them to kill themself.

​"I'm so sorry, Courtney. I hope you can heal now knowing how deeply sorry I am."


In her apology thread, the model described her past self as "an insecure, attention-seeking troll," adding that the shame and embarrassment she feels is nothing compared to the way she made Courtney feel.

"I am so sorry I let you guys down," she added to her followers, "I will forever work on being better than I was ten years ago, 1 year ago, 6 months ago."

​Courtney responded to Chrissy's apology with this Instagram post:


"I accept her apology and forgive her. But the truth remains the same, I have never heard from her or her camp in private. In fact, she blocked me on Twitter. All of me wants to believe this is a sincere apology, but it feels like a public attempt to save her partnerships with Target and other brands who are realizing her 'wokeness' is a broken record."

Although Chrissy apologized for her past actions, fans were left disgusted by the cruelty and negativity she showed to Courtney...


And many feel that the famous mom has shown her true colors.







So, as you can see, Chrissy's name has certainly been dragged through the mud this week.


And now, things have just gotten worse as Candace Owens has decided to weigh in on the situation.

​Now, we all know Candace Owens for being notoriously right-wing and outspoken...


And the political commentator certainly isn't afraid of voicing her opinions.

​Following Chrissy's apology, Candace decided to take to Twitter herself and shed some light on the ugly situation.


Reminding her followers that former POTUS Donald Trump was banned from Twitter for "writing nothing remotely violent," Candace pointed out that Chrissy was allowed to keep all of her social media accounts after telling a sixteen-year-old to commit suicide.

"Disgusting."

​She then pointed out how contradictory Chrissy was to defend Meghan Markle's claims of suicidal thoughts...


While she was "encouraging teenagers to kill themselves."

Candace then started pulling up some of the 2011 tweets Chrissy sent to Courtney.


"Everything about Chrissy Teigen's record on social media indicates mental derangement but telling a sixteen-year-old girl that you fantasize about her being dead? That takes the cake. Why does @Target sponsor this trash?"

​And then, the political personality discovered a range of disturbing tweets from Chrissy's past...


Including one sent to Lindsay Lohan in 2011 about her "slitting her wrists."

"Another @chrissyteigen suicide tweet. This time dedicated to Lindsay Lohan. Isn't John Legend's wife just SO FUNNY when she encourages self-harm? All of you celebrities are massive, disgusting hypocrites who treat people like dirt."

​Candace then revealed another disturbing tweet from Chrissy - this time, aimed at Sarah Palin.


"Chrissy Teigen also pleaded with Sarah Palin to commit suicide by shooting herself in the face. @target is still carrying her products."

Well, Owens certainly isn't backing down - calling Teigen a predator protected by Hollywood.

She tweeted:


"People wonder how people like Harvey Weinstein & Epstein were able to victimize people for years despite the fact that "everybody knew". It's the same reason Chrissy Teigen has been platformed despite publicly victimizing women for over a decade. Hollywood protects predators"

She then followed up with a tweet that read #SurvivingChrissyTeigen, a reference to the Surviving R. Kelly docuseries that exposed abuse allegations against the singer.
