Prince Philip Bears Striking Resemblance to Prince Harry in Unearthed Magazine Photo

In the days following his death, a photo of a young Prince Philip has started recirculating online...
And people cannot get over his resemblance to his grandson, Prince Harry.
Scroll on to see the uncanny likeness for yourself...
Now, it was announced on Friday, April 9th, that Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, had died at the age of ninety-nine.
After years of health complications, the Duke passed away peacefully in his sleep, just months before his 100th birthday.
In a statement, the royal family wrote:
"It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen has announced the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss. Further announcements will be made in due course."
In the days following his death, it was announced that his funeral will be taking place on Saturday, April 17th.
The ceremonial royal funeral, which will be televised to the world, is set to be held at St George's Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.
Though, of course, all eyes have been on one member of the family in paeticular.
As you will all be aware, Prince Harry is currently residing in California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their son, Archie, so, therefore, will have dealt with the loss thousands of miles away from his family.
Almost immediately after Prince Phillip's death was announced, Harry made a hasty return to the U.K.
He arrived in Heathrow on a British Airways flight at around 1.15 pm on Sunday, April 11th, The Sun reported. There, he was met by security off the plane before being driven away in a black Range Rover.
Meghan hasn't joined him, however, due to medical advice on flying while pregnant with their second child.
And, wasting no time at all...
He issued a personal statement on the passing of his grandfather on the Archewell Foundation website.
The statement is titled, "In loving memory of His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh."
Harry started by writing:
"My grandfather was a man of service, honor, and great humor. He was authentically himself, with a seriously sharp wit, and could hold the attention of any room due to his charm — and also because you never knew what he might say next."
He continued:
"He will be remembered as the longest-reigning consort to the Monarch, a decorated serviceman, a Prince, and a Duke. But to me, like many of you who have lost a loved one or grandparent over the pain of this past year, he was my grandpa: master of the barbecue, legend of banter, and cheeky right 'til the end."
"He has been a rock for Her Majesty The Queen with unparalleled devotion."
"By her side for seventy-three years of marriage, and while I could go on, I know that right now he would say to all of us, beer in hand, 'Oh do get on with it!'"
Harry wrapped up his statement by saying:
"So, on that note, Grandpa, thank you for your service, your dedication to Granny, and for always being yourself. You will be sorely missed, but always remembered — by the nation and the world. Meghan, Archie, and I (as well as your future great-granddaughter) will always hold a special place for you in our hearts. Per Mare, Per Terram."
Of course, many were moved by Harry's heartfelt and deeply personal statement...

But today, people are talking about something else entirely.
As stated earlier, an old photo of a thirty-six-year-old Prince Philip from 1957 has gone viral...
For it's striking resemblance to today's Prince Harry.
People can't believe their eyes...
Same eyes, as well as Charles.

He's perhaps the only one who really looks like his granddad. Seems Edward a bit too but I could be wrong.

What a lovely photo of HRH and his visitors. Photos of young Prince Philip in military attire often bear a strong resemblance to Prince Harry.

Here's the photo in question.
Royal photographer, Chris Jackson, shared the image on Instagram, which was of a magazine cover of Paris Match in 1957. Writing in the caption, Jackson explained:
"I was reminded today of this incredible vintage @parismatch_magazine from 1957 I acquired a few years ago. I was blown away the minute I spotted it. It always reminds me of the unique, historic reference points that Royal photography provides. The front cover features a fantastically suave Prince Philip on tour with The Queen, check out my stories to see inside."
And just for a quick comparison...
The resemblance is uncanny, isn't it?
The funeral of Prince Philip is set to take place this Saturday, April 17th. Updates will be posted accordingly.
